Pandinus Imperator??

Hi!

I recently purchased my scorp, and it was sold to me under the name of P. Imperator.

I have had P. Imperator in the past, and I took notice that my little female is quite red in glow and appearance.
Maybe I thought... perhaps P. Cavimanus ?? But have no way to tell the difference.
I have to say she is very young, 9 months and very tiny so perhaps the coloration is normal for a juvenile?
And I have only had adults in the past.

I wonder what you guys think of it?

That is not an emp. Of that I am %100 sure.

Thought so.... But Cavimanus?

Not an emp. Hard to tell but could be cavimanus . Lucky I like it when they sell things as "emperor scorpion" and you get something rarer

Hmm could be a het.sp. But it does have granulated claws

I would guess Cavimanus. Definitely not an Imperator

I second the female cavimanus vote.

So ... Female Cavimanus is the most likely and obvious ... Any other thoughts?

No other thoughts or polls needed. Apples are apples oranges are oranges and your scorpion is a Cavimanus.

Hi everybody!! I wanted to thank you all for your replies and time.

I got a hold on the company where she originates from, and it was confirmed that it was a misunderstanding. Yoda indeed is a confirmed female Pandinus Cavimanus.

I will ask mod to lock this thread;)
