can you help sexing my desert scorp please

I've been trying to upload an image and a video but it wont let me?

At first I thought it was a she but I'm not so sure now, I'm thinking it could be a he.

To post an image (there might be a tutorial here somewhere...) you have the host an image on an image hosting site. The forum offers a free account to an image hosting site. As your post your message click the little icon on the top that has a polaroid looking picture with a floppy disk. You upload your image and it gives you a url code. Once you have the url code you can either hit the icon to the right of the previous one I mention (just has a polaroid looking picuture withouth the floppy) or you can just type it out.

By the way my best guess without a clearer picture is male. Based on how thick the pectines look and they angle they make. But that's just my best guess.

I'm not a mod but the teeth on the pectines look very large. I'm guessing male as well.

Mods aren't the ultimate authority. I'm often wrong actually. And I've been MIA for a long time.

I didnt even know you had to be a member for a week to post vids. Gotta look into that. PM me the link I can probably edit your post and include the vid myself. I know Briget was able to do it and she hasn't been here long.

From your video, I would say male as well. And, your Haddy could use a lot more substrate. If you give it a hill side of hard packed sand, it'll fill it with tunnels. Play sand mixed with 10-30% excavator clay, moistened and allowed to dry works well. Unfortunately, Haddy tanks are always going to be heavy.

Here's what my Haddy has done to her 30x30x30 Exo Terra enclosure:

As you can see, I probably have the bare minimum of what these guys can make use of. My next Haddy enclosure will be a standard 10 gallon aquarium. The Exo Terra's are nice, but the front vent limits landscaping and the doors present an escape opportunity.

Edit: Regarding our previous discussions on Hadrurus behavior, note in the 2nd photo that the tank temperature is 65F and she's blocked off her burrow under the slate. This photo was taken last winter during her dominant period. She's done the same thing this winter.
