| Are all spider egg sacks fertile? I have had a Brown Recluse spider for about 6 months. She has layed about 5 eggs sacks so far. (I am disposing of them as I don't want babies.) I wonder if all spider eggs sacks are fertile? For safety reasons I will assume they are fertile but I'm not sure. Thanks.

| Well, yes spiders do sometimes lay infetrile egg sacs.
There's no way to tell of course unless you let them hatch or you've witnessed the mating. | |
