| My new Centruroides vittatus and more Uroctonus mordax pics: I got my 8 C. vittatus yesterday! I kept them in a temporary sterilite container, but moved them all to their new 10 gallon enclosure. All the bark, wood, and rocks(and a tuft of grass) where acquired out in the wilderness. Here's some pics of the scorps: Here's the communal tank, before I put in the 8 C. vittatus: With a couple scorps crawling around: I have had these U. mordax scorps(4) for a while, but just took some pics: female male And this great little container I bought at the dollar store. I'm using them for my U. mordax scorps. It has about the same area as a regular KK, but it's just a little shorter than a KK. It is actually pretty good quality plastic(same quality as rubbermaid containers), and has a nice tight fitting top. I'm not sure if the ventilation is adequate, but I tried a test that I invented, where you make holes in a top like that, and you 'fan' it against your face, and if you can feel the air, you need more holes. It passed. | |

I had the same problem. I sometimes put it in water and give it a few minutes of sunlight. I like your sig banner btw

Give them light and mist them regularly.
