| Hi mate, In my opinion, a bad molt are usually triggered by factors such as how the scorpion was being kept (environmental conditions) prior to his/her molt. At times, when a scorpion is suffering from dehydration, they might suffer a bad molt. There might be other factors too but is unlikely caused by another premolt scorpion next to it. As for the "disturb" concern, it is back to the fact the "there's always risks of cannibalism when raising scorpions up in a communal setup. The only difference is whether it is high risk or low. For your scenario, i'll say it's low since they are both in the same instar and in premolt condition. Keep the substrate well dampened (not soaking wet) and the temperature warm, and it should be fine | |
