My in-laws have a terraced pond on their frontyard patio of their sub-urban residence. For quite some time I've heard the call of Golden Tree-Frogs whenever I spent some time chilling out there. Night before last, it seemed like I was hearing a lot more frogs than usual. With a flashlight I managed to spot up to a dozen adult individuals. Inspection of the pond revealed tadpoles in considerable abundance, so I decided to start a Golden Tree Frog Project. One scoop of the net was all it took.

Years ago I had wild-caught adults that successfully produced tadpoles in captivity. This time I'm hoping to raise them effectively Razz

From this batch at least one individual has already developed hind legs

Got a good spot for this kritter by a window that gets a good dose of morning sunshine.

I also collected a good amount of pond water and some pond scum with algae for them to graze on, but I also plan on feeding them Tetramin flakes.

Cheers and Kudos to all frog keepers. I find them a lot tougher to care for than scorpions or snakes Very Happy

After some observation, I'm led to think that some of the tadpoles like the one in pic 3 might those of a Painted Frog - Kaloula sp.
