I'm guessing she was just old. I didn't see her for a month straight after most the babies were at i2- i3. I thought it was odd because she would come out and bask in the infra red heat lamp on a regular basis. I decided to change the substrate when my suspicions got the best of me. Unfortunately I was correct and she was pretty well eaten through. Even though there was plenty of crickets and dubias I do believe babies cannibalized on mama when she died. The male was out of there long before she had delivered the brood. Just her and the babies were occupants. | |
