Subject: Oak Mat? 8/14/2012, 10:55 am
I've been using Oak mat, which is basically just mat for stag beetles since the pet store didn't have anything else, for my emperor scorpion Caesar. Is this okay? I've seen some places that orchid bark is bad for the scorpion, but is oak okay?

I'm not really sure what you mean by an oak mat, (pictures?) but as long as it does not contain cedar or any type of pine, it should be fine.
