Help me id this Euscorpius

Found this guy on my doorstep. Euscorpius are so similar.

First I taught it was E. Italicus but it is too brownish and has bigger telson than Italicus. Also it has those spikes on his middle part of the pedipalps.

You are right about Euscorpius being difficult to ID.

The one pictured could definately be E. italicus. I have a group of 4 that were collected at Lake Garda, Italy and they have almost exactly the same colouration as the one above.

However, it is also possible that it is not E. italicus, although I'm betting it probably is lol.

Where abouts was he collected?

It's abit tricky to count the trichobothria, but if you have a decent camera, or even better, a microscope you should manage it.

Thank you for the help. I will try to ID it by those markers. Telson is the only real difference I am conserned with.
