| Nope My actual plan now is to get a load of building sand, twigs, bark, branches, leaves and pebbles and turn my 1.2 metre tank, which is currently housing a temporary rescuee, into a large (real large) natural communal setup. Its right by the window so they'd get a lot of sun so I won't need any extra heating, lighting or a lid. Now, what other species should I add as it is a really large tank? Maybe add a lizard or two? | |

| Scorpions in da house! Ordered a Hadrurus Spadix and 2 Parurctonus Boreus last week...unfortunately the H. Spadix didn't survive the trip and there was only 1 P. Boreus. I had a live arrival guarantee, so the dealer shipped another H. Spadix and surprised me with a Vaejovis Coahuilae in place of the other P. Boreus! I'll give Ken props in the review thread. So excited to have some new scorpions again! I'll post some pics just as soon as I figure out what to do with the V. Coahuilae | |

| I suggest you wait a little longer for your chance to win something from Ken. Your admin team is hard at work. | |

| What do the numbers mean that people have in their signatures next to their scorpion species?
The 2.2.0 in the above post, for instance.

| The first number is the number of males...the second number is the number of females...and the third number is the number of unidentified gender a person has in their collection. So Patcho (Patrick) has 2 males, 2 females, and no babies. | |

| Ah, I see. Thanks! I was assuming it had to be something to do with numbers of them and/or instar status, and/or number of times owned, and/or breeding generations, or some such. Good to know what it is, . | |

| I just double checked that on Google myself to be sure. 2 Males.3 Females.5 Unsexed would be 2.3.5 Species Name Here. | |

| You've got one of my favourite collections of scorpions.
Is the juvi Opistophtalmus captive-bred?
Also, what camera are you using to take your pictures?

| Thanks guys. Nope Callum, they are WC, I have actually heard very little concerning captive breeding of the Opistophthalmus genus which is sad because they have awesome little personalities. I am using a Fujifilm finepix S8000 which is quite old and only 8mp lol. For me it's all about the lighting. | |

Care to share your lighting tips lol?

| I have only seen about one person that has bred O.wahlbergi I think and I think most of the brood did not make it. No better light than sunlight. All of my better photos were taken outside but not in direct sunlight. | |
