| Well i went to check on all critters last night glanced in our female cav tank and though why has she got a cricket on her back silly girl, only to look closer and realise it was a baby...yay!!! so losing one cav to mating was not too bad as this one succeeded  i can see about 4 on her at the moment i dont want to disturb her too much so will wait to find out true numbers. she didnt look gravid in the slighest though so not holding out too much hope, managed to get some kind of pics, poor quality but you can just about make out the babie...    | |

|  Happy days. Congrats Bex. To say that P. cavimanus are fairly commonly kept you don't see many juveniles around. Did you mate her or was she WC gravid? | |

| we bought three last year in the hope of mating them, (one male 2 female) we put this one in with him first left them a bit took her out and put the other female in...we forgot about them and went to bed....bad move....came down the next day to find her totally mutilated  so we just assumed none had mated, but guess she either did or was already either way its awesome lol | |
