Mastigoproctus giganteus

I got a Mastigoproctus giganteus. (vinegaroon, whip scorpion) It's still small, less than an inch in length.

These are cool creatures! I had a camel spider but he did not live long. I think we have these vinegaroons here in Texas and call them "giant Vinegaroons"???

Yeah, solpugids tend to have short lifespans in captivity.

Yes, they are found in Texas, you're lucky you live down there with all the cool creatures!

Here in Houston where I live I think we only have the C. vit scorp. Other parts of TX do have other scorps and the whole state does have a lot of cool creepy crawlies!
