| Hey all, sad news and good news. My Monocirrhus polyacanthus died, definitely not of hunger, probably a disease . But i got another equally beautiful fish! Actually i bought this around the same time as the monocirrhus polyacanthus. Enjoy! RIP monocirrhus polyacanthus .

| Nop, orientalis has many spots. I believe they call this channa sp fire & ice, either maybe a gachua or stewartii colour variant. | |

| Oops sorry, orientalis doesnt have spots. It looks very similar to the one i have in the pic, except orientalis is missing the red and blue around its face. So maybe mine could b an orientalis CF or just an entirely new species! | |
