Transparent very tiny fins that help it to move around slowly, sneaking up on unsuspecting victims and swallowing them whole in one mouthful. A true predator!

Definitely a wicked looking fish.

I read they have to have live food and eat their body weight per day. Do you breed other feeder fish too?

Yeah she's pretty mean looking. I dont breed feeder fishes, but i can just head tot he pet store and buy some Smile. I just got her yesterday and have yet to see her actually hunt though. But there are videos on youtube. This fish has one of the fastest strikes. In one video, a Monocirrhus Polyacanthus ate a guppy and the guppies around the attack didnt even notice! Wicked fast.
