| 34 is a good brood.
Are you placing any lids on the cups?
If you are not, do take note that the substrate will dry out much faster with an open lid.

| The substrate you are keeping your adults in are fine. You may also consider using pure coco fibre/peat for 2 - 4.instar young. Reason being, whether moisture on the substrate is sufficient or not, it can be easily seen with the naked eye. As slings, they require slightly more moisture as compared to adults. Try to keep a side of the substrate moist at all times. Dry substrate is pale brown and moist surface is dark brown. But that's my preference. Also, a container with larger base area as compared to taller height clearance might be a better choice as their enclosure, as you may "play around" with more moisture variation and the container does not topple over that easily as well.
