| Excellent choice with the P. murinus. A word of caution for you though, screen tops can be dangerous for tarantulas. They can get their feet caught in the mesh, and on some occasions a fang. Be careful!! | |

We should always minimise the possible safety hazards in our pet's enclosure. Personally, i never use screen tops for my Ts but i can understand the concerns raised by street. Good advice given! | |

Also for the screen top would there be anything I can cover it with rather than get whole new enclosures? My T never climbs up anymore though, she's always on the ground now. I wouldn't want to risk it though! | |

| I cut a "frame" out of a sterilite container lid. It is 3" all the way around, and the middle is still screen for good ventilation. I just hot glued it. I'll post some pictures if you want them. | |

| I like the rosie too! I just got one of those as well. I never kept them. My first spider was an A. chalcodes. Second OBT.
Is your substrate moist, or just dark? | |
