Here's my newest addition, a pterinochilus murinus. Not sure of the sexe yet though. She's a pretty little thing, very quick and such a temperament. Laughing I'm hoping I'll be able to pick up another T this weekend.

And also thought I would have some pictures of my past pink toe who passed last Thursday. He was my first little guy, the sweetest T ever. <3

Excellent choice with the P. murinus. A word of caution for you though, screen tops can be dangerous for tarantulas. They can get their feet caught in the mesh, and on some occasions a fang. Be careful!!

We should always minimise the possible safety hazards in our pet's enclosure.
Personally, i never use screen tops for my Ts but i can understand the concerns raised by street.
Good advice given!

Thanks.

Also for the screen top would there be anything I can cover it with rather than get whole new enclosures? My T never climbs up anymore though, she's always on the ground now. I wouldn't want to risk it though!

I cut a "frame" out of a sterilite container lid. It is 3" all the way around, and the middle is still screen for good ventilation. I just hot glued it. I'll post some pictures if you want them.

Oh ok I understand what you mean, I'll do that later tonight thanks!

EDIT: Also thought I would have everything in one thread, here's my new rose haired T. I love you

She/he is really fast but I'm hoping she'll adjust quick.

I like the rosie too! I just got one of those as well. I never kept them. My first spider was an A. chalcodes. Second OBT.

Is your substrate moist, or just dark?
