I lost another one...literally

First, let me say that I am having a horrible week. First I find out my Grandfather has cancer, I've been sick the whole week, I sprained my ankle, and to top it all off, I come home from school today to find that my H. madraspatensis has escaped. Well, there goes $100 (incuding shipping) I have looked over the whole house with the blacklight and can not find him. Never use kritter Keepers for baby scorpions, one of my bark scorpions also escaped from one a few days ago. (I found it and rehoused both of them to a escape-proof enclosure) The scorpions can fit through the slots in the lid. I can't think of anything else to say, so I'm going to bed because I have not slept in two days.

Sorry to hear about your week, like it has been mentioned above the scorp can be replaced I still have a couple left, but more important is spending time with your grandfather, cherish every min. you may have left, hope it turns out alright for him.
