| I've had a T. scripta elegans long time ago. was not more than 3cm or so It grew quite big though. And they are pretty big predators, a friend had some of them communally with Chinese water dragons but didn't end up too well. | |

| Wait till they get bigger, theyll stink and bite anything near them. watch your fingers. Constant water changes cause they got no digestive system, the bad points go on and on. But... they ARE awesome and I miss all mine. Bestest was the big Common Snapping Turtle I had... VERY nasty. Great pics hun and wonderful animals. Enjoy them. | |

| I fed my red-eared with chicken and shrimps Get a good filter in their tank. It'll save you couple of water changes. | |

| ive got a good filter that was my main concern also just been reading that its best to feed them outside the tank in another tub with water so they 1 get used to being handled and 2 dont make mess....however we are considering getting a load of neon tetras to put in...any thoughts on that? these wont take goldfish just yet lol | |

| Just so you know, your turtles will chase the fish around so much that they will get so stressed that they probably get sick. When they get sick, the turtles will be able to actually catch them and get a not so healthy meal Also, before using goldfish as food, read this. Btw cute little turtles! Wish I could have some | |

| You use dead fish not live and just as a variety in the diet. Also, turtles have a very poor digestive system and pass almost anything right through. I've fed turtles on chicks and they've come out recognisable (snapping turtle) | |
