2. NOT larping, thats those guys with the foam weapons beating each other randomly, we are a historical re-enactment group, therefore everything we do that can be authentic is (we have an authentic longhall, which we built) so all our clothes, dyes, methods of making stuff, and everything else is as close to what it was 1000 years ago as possible. therefore, our armour is metal, our shields are wood and our weapons are real but blunt (as authentic as death was, it doesnt seem appropriate to do it in every battle )
