is it dangerous? are there ristrictions on the nasty ones in the uk?....if its dangerous ill be tempted lol

cyanide ...will it kill you?...hang on i know it can kill you lol but surely what it secretes cant ?? wouldnt be touching it anyway lol

The secretion is a defense mechanism. It can't kill you, but it's harmful if you get it in your eyes or mouth. It also
stains and irritates the skin. If you never handle them, or never handle them roughly, they're not dangerous. Just
be sure to wash your hands.

I've handled a. gigas many times and they have never secreted anything I have also handled my spirostreptus gregorius many times, and they have never done it either

wow. Thats a pretty exotic species for a first timer. Mantises are very touchy. I have no experience with this species, but ive found M. religiosa and t.a.sinenses to be very touchy. Those are beautiful little guys though. How many did you order?

Only two invade I mess up but pretty sure I'll be fine tbh seem to be quite hood at bringing things up lol

Have you seen them hunt and eat yet?

Yeah they just grab it as it flies past lol tis awesome
