where to get pet bees?

i dont want a bunch i just want a couple of bees and a queen that will build a hive

Dont catch bees. They are endangered. Catch wasps outside

you want polistes wasps which have very small hives with only the queen and a couple of workers.
i cannot tell you where to get them from because i dont know where you are, but there are quite a few species native to north america and they are often found in sheds.

honey bees are on the decline in the UK but are by no means endangered or protected, you are doing no wrong if you smash one thats stung you, and there is nothing stopping you keeping them, or there wouldnt be bee-keepers. and bee-keepers are pretty much the only thing keeping honey bees going.
