| how do you determine gender of this species?is it like sexing h.arizonensis' and c.sculpturatus'?

| hahaha. it baked me a cake,and when i said that i dont like chocolate she cried and said "it wasnt what i said it was how i said it".
actually i just looked it up online and compared the pectines to the pics.basicly the same method as sexing any species at this point im learning.pectines,and genital operculums. ahhh thank homo sapiens for the information highway. | |

| id say almost 2'' counting the tail. i got a pic of it next to a quarter.ill get it on here shortly.

| i believe mine is gravid.her burrow was closed off or collapsed because i didnt use excavator clay just a good mix of sand,dirt and alot of eco earth.only time will tell if she did the closing off on purpose because shes gonna pop or it collapsed because of the lack of excavator and shes just going to molt.
a friend gave her to me stuffed full of 10 crix and now i find her weeks later fatter after refusing food and hiding for forever in a massive tunnel.

| they get loads bigger than that though dont they? thought they grew to up to 2.5", oh you did say yours is nearlly 2 didnt you hmmm maybe is then ours deffo is not adult yet | |

| yeah pretty much looks like mine,but mines a tad bit fatter.i hope shes just going to molt and i kinda doo hope shes gravid.dunno either way ill feel happy and somewhat upset.we'll see.
from what ive read they caaan reach 2.5'' but thats a rare case and occurs with females. | |

| i dunno.i would think the female would have a shorter thicker tail than a male though.not sure ill look it up and compare with mine when the slings are grown to the older female i have. | |
