I wish I could help, but I dont know the species. From a general point of view i'd say female. But I sex my scorps on bodyshape, not pectines (although its the only sure way of doing it).

Again it's hard to tell with your Arizona quality pictures, but I do have some info that may help you.

In Hadrurus species scorpions the pectines of the female do not pass the first leg joint, males do. No need for a pectine count at all. If the pectines pass the joint it's a male. It looks to me like yours terminate right at the joint, so most likely female.

I'll try to grab some pectine shots of my male next time he's out of the burrow for you.

its not that its az quality.i had that arsewipe quality when i didnt take the time to get the lighting and my hand perfectly still. even with a crap camera phone with a lil extra time spent getting the shot right it will come out better.

Pffft....I have HUNDREDS of scorpion pics...its not an issue of the state I reside in,more like an issue of having a piece of crap phone cam...lol
