| Howdy all, If I were to overhaul my emp enclosure and make it more like their natural jungle habitat, would this possibly draw them out of their lair so I would have more than a pet hole? Thanks all! | |

| LOL Flood them out? Honestly? Wow. Sounds plausible but I don't think I am going to do that. | |

| I did that once.. but its by accident when i poured too much water into their(adult emps) substrate. lolz (as i'm about to leave them for a short vacation) Within mins.. they just crawled out of their burrows gently.. Of cos, you may use also scrap out the substrate by layers. Just go easy as they may be hiding anywhere within and also look for any sudden grabbing from their chelas Btw, do they come out for "night strolls" during the wee hours? That might be the chance to get them too.. one by one.. till its all done for "renovation day" | |

| I guess flooding works lol
What you could do, and well for me it is like a sort of orgasm.. is to make sure they can burrow.. BUT also making sure that the place they will burrow too is right beside the glass.
You can cover the piece where they are, with some black paper or something to not disturb them. When you want to see them you just gently remove the paper and voila voyeurism!
How you do it is pretty practical and logical too. Just add rocks everywhere except where you want them to have their burrow. Put a hide right on top of it and make sure the cocofibre is moist and dense enough to burrow. Add rocks everywhere else with a thin layer of cocofibre on top.
This way you can see your pet, like it would be in nature! I find that more relaxing than a without a hide or a stressed out specimen acting unnatural. | |

| I might say, they are very hard to keep and not much is known about them. I never comment on Euscorpius because really it is a scorpion that is bathing in mysterie. Hope the other ones are tougher! I'll make some hail maries for you and your flavies too. Ofcourse I missed you!! You are part of the SForum furniture! | |

| Speaking of glue. You could always superglue the scorpion to a stick and that way you can always look at it. It will also make an interesting weapon. | |
