So do scorps eat things bigger than them okay? I got the smallest roach at the pet store... and it was still bigger than my scorpion... which freaked Tenacious out and sent him running around his tank... so I took the roach back out... maybe once he's hungrier...

Like he said, bigger is better!

WOW, Just had to comment on the hornworm pic. Incredible I've always wanted to feed my scorps one but they all came DOA and i got silkworms as replacements.

Now my scorp is a little pudge...

She was still eating on it today (I believe this scorp is a gal) so I took the remains out (24 hrs later) and it's 'half the worm it used to be' with sever 'rot' and liquidfied inards. I don't know if that is from the venom or the mastication (but my wife sure cringed as I held it for the pic... )

Looks like it was eating at it from 2 different ends.
