help please!

so i have had my emp. for like 2-3 months. i woke up today and it had 10 babies on her back. i never knew it was a female and i definitely didn't know she was pregnant. anyways i was wondering do the babies need any extra care?..and my mom said she doesn't want my scorpion in the house anymore so ill have to sell the mom and all 10 babies or she's let them loose and i live in NY. if it wanders in any ones house it'll be a problem and if not it'll just die and all the babies too..inbox me if you wanna buy them...cheap too because i really need to get rid of them..i dont want them to die

dude that really sucks and you cant let them loose. somebody on here might buy them especially because theres a brood involved or you could try friends and relatives.
i would buy em but i live far west coast and its freaking hot to ship live here now.i would think.

If you can't talk some sense into your mom, you might be able to donate them to a school in your area or leave them with
the SPCA. If you must sell them, you could try local pet shops, or, you might get luck and find someone here or on one of
the other forms who will buy them. Good luck.

Pet shops around here buy emperor scorplings for 5 bucks a piece. I would try them first.

i tried my local petland and they said that since theyre in ny they cant buy venomous animals so i tried the petco that i bought it from in long island and since i didnt have my recipt they wouldnt take it back...=/...really need some one to take them off my hands or theyll be let loose..=/

Put them in a local add paper. Tell your mom you are working on it and she will hopefully see you do your best to get wrid of them..

yeah like Pluto said your 25,she should trust you more and her being older she shouldnt be so heartless and irrational.setting em loose is rediculous.

did you try friends and relatives? neighborhood teens?talk to their parents as well to make sure its ok,petshops arent the only answer and at this point i wouldnt be concerned about getting money back but to getting them into a good home asap.

Try independent petshops. They will be more likely to take em. Try archnoboards also. That has a massive community. Someone from NYC may read it and be interested. If you are really going to let it go you might as well just dump it in any petshop. I'm sure you will see it up for sale the next day. Don't ask em. Just leave it on a shelf in it's container or whatever.

i did post it on arachnoboards..loll..its titled the same exact thing..loll...and that may be a good idea..if i cant find anyone to get em and my mom is really gonna let it loose ill just leave it at the petco i bought it from..=]..thnx man

i find it hard to believe petstores wont take em in for free.i also find it hard to believe your trying hard when only two of your friends said no, two petstores said no and two websites said no.the two petstores i bet were petsmart and the petco you bought em from.am i wrong?

did anyone notice this kid overlooked the independant pet shop option and opted for the quick solution of just dropping off the poor scorps?

ask your science teacher if you can keep em in class as a class pet because you cant keep em at home.
if you must do the drop off at a petstore, leave em at a different petco as the one you bought from is already on to you.

this is a mom trying to protect her young try harder and kiss your moms arse to buy you more time barter with her,wash her car,the dishes,cut the grass,do other favors.

i still have them. i think my mom is forgetting that i have them since my reptile room is in the basement and she cant see them..=]..loll...so the babies are still on her back...how do i feed them?...and i fed the mom a meal worm and she ddnt share with them..?..what do i do?

Leave them be until they climb down from her back. They should be able to easily take down small crickets at that point.

kk...pin heads tho?..because i cant get pinheads...my petshop only has small and large..not pin head small tho..loll

Regular smalls should be fine. Emp babies are pretty big. You can also feed them pre killed crickets. They will scavenge for food as well. Kill a cricket and rip it up.

I gave him the phone number of my local petstore (they care for scorps pretty well) so he could talk to the owner about shipping them to him.
