| Nice man. Glad to see some broods there. I'm also a big fan of the Haddies. Sure they aren't too flashy or particularly rare, but they are awesome scorpions!
One question, how are you heating the enclosures? I'm looking to convert my closet into a sort of hot room for my scorps. Thinking on oil radiator is the way to go...

| Thanks Street Yeah I couldn't wait for any of my stuff to pop, so I went and bought a couple moms already . My buddy had both so I had to snag'em . As for the heating I don't use anything the closet is usually always 80 - 85 so no need for a heat source ,but a few buddies of mine just use heat tape on the back of the shelves and that seems to work for them plus it's relatively cheap.
Oh Yeah I'd been thinking of getting a haddy for a while just couldn't decide which 1 till now the blondie just looks mean. Sorry I can't be of more help in the heat department for you.

| I am reasonably sure that's not a Babycurus gigas, looks like a male rhopalurus junceus, a really nice one. | |

Agreed. I was just about to say the same thing. I've currently keep both species. I hope you didn't pay the price a Babycurus gigas would be worth now days for that Rhopalurus being a much more common species in the hobby.

| @ tlb 05 Thanks man those C. sculpts are mean little F ers . @ DolbyR Thanks they are a cool looking scorp, and I had no idea they were so vibrant either. @ Pluto I couldn't resist, the babies are just so F ing cute, Had to get them. Thanks @ GS Yeah the C. Sculpts are awesome can't wait till they're big. But for now they're F ing adorable . By the way that's 1 hell of a breeding program you've got , hopefully 1 day I'll have something close to that. @ Chrome and Envyizm Yes def looks like R. junceus but it is B. gigas maybe just a crappy pic so here is 1 more hopefully better. If not sorry broken arm hard to take pic's with my bad arm will have the wife take a few when she gets home. Envyizm thanks for your concerns on being sold something that it might not be, but got it from a good friend I know he wouldn't do that but thanks bro | |

| Street you should def look into the heat tape. It is cheap and so many people use it in the reptile world for heating lots of stuff, anyway good luck with your hunt for an alternative heat source | |

| Still about 99% sure it's a male R. junceus.
Mind giving a pic (side view would be awesome) of the telson to see if it has one of the babycurus trademarks, the nubbin, above the main tip?
If it's a B. gigas it's not like any i've ever seen before, would be nifty if it was, cool color morph.

| Bro I think about moving to AZ all the time. I love/HATE my city. Notice the emphasis on the hate... If I didn't have my girl I'd pack my bags and hop the Greyhound right now. She keeps me here, but I'm working on her. | |

| According to pictures of Stefan "Phalagorn" Brännström's B. gigas, they have telson + first three segments of metasoma dark colored (yours only have two) and they have no dark area above the mouthparts, also the mouthparts are more blackish. | |

| The telson lacks the little extra point above the acleus, so it's def. not B. gigas
B. gigas telson | |

| Thank you all for helping to clear that up for me. Even though it isn't B. gigas it is still a beautiful scorp and I'm happy to have it in the collection.
@ Will3 N Street thanks for the info and pic of the telson.
It never even occurred to me to check it out when I got it off my buddy. I just went off what he told me it was. Now that I know it isn't B. gigas I'm def gonna give him [hopscotch] over it , but for 15 bucks it's still a good addition to my collection.
@ Annababe Yeah there are alot of hangers but that's cause it's the wife's side of the closet. My side has all of my L.q setups on the shelf.
@ Chrome How do you know it's male ?
