| Hey guys.
I'm trying to decide the best place to put my heat lamp right now since the changes to the tank. Currently, if you look at the pictures of the tank from a couple days ago, I have a 50W sort of in the middle where the rock is, sitting on the screen top about 5 inches from the mesh. There is a hide in each back corner and the water dish in the middle back of the tank. It's a 15 gallon long tank. Temps reach about 80-81 F. I'm kinda worried the water and the rock may be too warm with the placement, but I don't wanna heat the hides up too much either.
Also, do you guys keep your heat on Imps 24 hours or only certain hours? Right now mine is on a timer that comes on around 7 am and goes off around 9 pm.

| i keep mine over one quater but our tank is kinda huge lol as long as there is a warm side and a cooler side it will be fine | |

| I was actually thinking about placing it directly over the "fountain" since that holds water and heat/water create humidity. What do you think? I don't wanna fry the moss either so that seems like the best placement to me.
Do you keep yours on 24 7 Bex or just certain hours? | |

| yeah ours are all on 24/7 never turn the off....but then we live in the lovely climate that is here in england lolz ...ie crap...lol...although its really warm here today seems sumer got a second wind lol | |

@GS, she's been drinking a lot of water lately............spends a lot of time either under the heat or near the water dish and is a very good eater although she really wants nothing to do with worms, whereas bumblebee would rather take a worm than a cricket, but I make sure he gets his share of crickets too.
