Howdy all,
Took my little bro out scorp hunting and he managed to find two of these things. I am in the belief that it's a pseudoscorpion. Am I correct?

It's a camel spider. Solifugae in Latin.

As LQ said, Camel spider/ Sun spider/ Soliguge/ Soligugae.
Fantastic animals, very fast and got a real good bite on them.
No venom either but they really dont do well in captivity. They all seem to drop dead very quickly.
If you are keeping it, give it loads of room and plenty of sand with small pebbles mixed in.

50 Euros to keep a Camel Spider alive for more than 5 months without getting bitten? Sounds like a challenge.

Give me a baby and I'll do it for for a tenner. They don't live that long in the wild either. A year maybe two if it's a hardcore camel spider. I think lifespan also depends on it's origin.

Bex you're thinking of the mujahideen camel spider. The most hardcore of all arachnids. It has been witnessed that they also make use of IEDs and suicide bombing tactics to capture their prey.

They are more often refered as sun spiders in the US if I'm not mistaken.

if anything, they should live for less?
steroids would speed up development, thus shortening their life :L
