Stromatopelma calceatum are very cool spiders, Very mad spiders. I think I will treat myself to one on my birthday. I'd get that over a Regalis but that's just my preference. Everytime I'm looking at the spidershop the feather leg shouts out "buy me"

Lee had suitcases full yeah but there were loads of things that were "missed out" on the newspaper reports.
He wasnt smuggling, the plane was diverted to Brazil (I think Brazil anyway) when it developed a problem. They all had to get off the plane and onto another but the pperwork for the spiders didnt cover them in Brazil so he was arrested for a day while it was sorted out.
Not saying he's my favorite bloke but to the best of my knowedge he'd actually done nowt wrong then.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions.

Those are a lot of awesome T's, did a little research on some and will probably get a

P.regalis and maybe a Green Bottle Blue also. They are both really cool but since the last time

I was on here I bought another, A.versicolor.

Yes I know a lot of you said Avicularia's are a bitch to keep but loved the blue coloring of the sling

just dont let the regalis escape like one of mine did,
opened tub in bathroom for a good clean out, was trying to coax her out, she ran straight up my arm spazzed out and then ended up running up the bathroom wall and sat in a corner I couldnt reach, we had high ceilings in that place so I needed a step ladder to catch her.

She bit me lol

No personal experience, but I've read that they are quite potent. Nausea and vomiting, fierce body/chest pains, and symptoms lasting days to weeks. Some people report pains and numbness lasting for months afterward.

Very good. I really like pokies, but am not confident enough to keep them. I'll look at them through the glass all day though LOL!

My T collection has thinned since I put more focus into scorpions. I always keep at least one OBT, I still have my first T, Aphonopelma chalcodes. They can live for 20-25 years in captivity. I also have a Grammostola pulchripes that I got at about .5 inch. It's an inch or so now, but that's it for T's right now. Have kept a number of other species over the years, but caught the scorpion bug and put way more focus there.
