I'd say search a damp dark place ... and smoke them out. But then again I have no experience so I shouldnt really have said anything...
HMMMM
Anyone that has done it before? At night is always best, that I'm sure of.

They can be anywhere and everywhere.
Find a rocky woodland area with Tall grass ( doesn't have to be tall but that generally means it's undisturbed and will have a bunch of stuff living in it) then just start lifting rocks and stuff. Be ready for em. They can be pretty rapid. You could also try burying a tub or bucket level with the ground In your garden and see what falls in. You never know.

Thanks all! I wish I had had time to do this before leaving for awyoming, which I do in the morning, but I will try the "Burry the bucket" routuine when I get there and see what happens. Thanks again!
