| i got a little obt at the bts show for £1.50 anyway.. today it's molted and is like double the size and very orange on the rump leading onto a question: do they eat the old skin? i think they do :/ just checking thanks | |

| Well, they don't eat their old skin. But freshly moulted they give you the idea they are eating it, because they might suck some fluids out, that were still in it to recuperate faster.
True story, I have seen my metallica do it rather visciously. | |

| Never seen that happen. You dont NEED to take the skin out, it'll eventually just get smashed into tiny bits but then again there's no reason to NOT take it out. | |

i think he means those little dermestid beetles. they eat anything, the spids eat them though i tried putting 1 in each, they all got attacked and eaten | |
