PostSubject: mopani wood question    mopani wood question Empty5/31/2011, 6:45 am

hey scorpion people.
i've got at least a large piece of mopani wood, that has been boiled after it served it's turn in one of my aquariums, plus.. i have money and may buy more.
is it suitable to use with scorpions since a nice couple of large pieces will make a good centre piece?
i think it will be, but it's always good to check.

thanks
tom

Colophospermum mopane grow in dry areas around South Africa. It is being eaten by the caterpillar of a native moth called, Imbrasia belina$

As it is eaten by an invert, and as such, it should not pose any threat to your bugs Smile

Mopani is really heavy, so make sure it is supported and secured well, especially if it's going into
and enclosure with a species that likes to burrow.
