| I've had her 9 days today. i just picked up another half dozen crickets this morning, so she'll get fed tonight and again this weekend if she's still hungry. (6 crickets assures that I'll have at least 2 or 3 for feeding.) She stays down in her burrow during the day. At night, she sits at the entrance of her hide waiting for prey to come by. I feed her with tongs, otherwise, the crickets just hide somewhere in the tank and never get eaten. | |

Probably. I also bought her a new water dish today. Next will probably be some sort of jungle background for the sides and back of her enclosure. | |

| Good! I love people that go that extra mile for their invert. They're animals after all. I think many scorpions would envy her..
Those background are imho more important than most people think. I do think it makes them more relaxed as they see less movement as well as making it more pleasant for you to view what s in it.
Nice one

| When I find something I like, I'll be sure to post some pics. For now, I'm just using light blue construction paper applied to the outside of the enclosure. It provides a kind of a skyline and blocks out extraneous light. I also dabble in model railroads where backgrounds really make a big difference in creating the illusion of realism. | |

| Do you paint them yourself, or are they sold at the hobby shop? I should look into those... | |
