| Mmm those scorps are gorgeous mate! I love the notched patterns on Mesobuthus. Still have the martensii breeding pair? Did she ever produce? | |

| Unfortunately not, they died away one by one. I think they were old, even that I bought them as sub-adults. They had pretty bad mycosis too (missing legs, paralyzed pedipalps, etc) As soon a can find some more, I'll take for sure. I'm trying to find M. eupeus as well. | |

| Its unbelievable what gets sold... Really like leftovers. Too bad for decent people, like you DolbyR. I suggest to only get from trusted sources, or leave it.
THere are far too many people selling their rubbish. As I said before, someone who doesnt want to screw people over is someone who doesnt send and sells adult scorpions.

| That's a shame mate but they did sound to be in a bad way from the start.
That's true pluto, I'd always prefer to buy captive born babies and raise them. Like my Haddy for example, the thing could have been 20 years old for all I know.

| Yeah, I guy tried to sell me once a cavi that had obviously been throug a bad molt, with some serious deformation on the tergites.
I think adult CB are always the biggest risk, you never know how they were raised. I know a local guy whose Andros don't get past the 3rd year. But what can you expect when he overfeeds them and doesn't offer a wintering period.
CB babies from reputable breeders and WC adult pairs seems to be the best choice.

| Can't say how they're compared to a P.t. as these are my 1st Parabuthus, but seems definitely less feisty and slower than my H. tamulus and A.bicolor. These are still small, I think 2i. About the size of the 3i bicolors. | |

| Ok then just wait untill they get hungry :-p You made a good call, wont regret it! Bicolors are more aggressive, but these will rock your world once they get bigger. They attack like a tank, whereas bicolors sting like a wasp. Its personal taste | |

| You are a lucky man. I have had Parabuthus villosus on my list for a long time. They are nearly impossible to get a hold of here. | |

Good call. If we have the patience it's always best to get early instars. That way, you'll be able to track the growth and also document stats for others to reference upon. Buying adult pairs.. Only if i know the seller well and probably will also consider when was the specimen's most recent molt.

| She´s still a subadult. My friend was supposed to bring me an adult pair, but due to some problems he wasn´t able to meet the seller. Breeding project will have to wait probably until spring. | |

| Yes, she is big, will try to measure her somehow but she is pretty feisty so it´s not too easy. But I can easily say she is around 20cm Yes, I will then have a trio | |
