| lol! More space and more money, what every animal lover needs A bit of insight on these little guys: they really enjoy spending their time at the higher points of the tank. That's something to keep in mind because they only venture down to the ground if there's food available, but they're almost always sitting high up. This is also the case because the heating and lighting is placed above the tank. I used to have a heat lamp facing the side of the tank and it would stay next to it instead of being at the top. I guess it's best to let it stay at the top and provide the heat up there too since it's more natural for them. And not to mention they are super fun to try and catch when they do their routine escapes. They jump and hang on to things like they're Spiderman (even on glass!), very cool lol | |

| its very cool to see someone else that keeps these as pets. i have 2 and they do love high places. mine are both WC from my yard and i love watching them pounce on crix them take them up high to chew on | |

Yes, they are unfortunately underrated lizards! Now that you mention it, my anole only starts smashing up its prey once it's at the top of the tank lol | |
