Can you get a clear pic of the head?

First guess would be a Spinifer.

Could be a Lao. If you could get a hi-def picture of the carapace that would be great.

when my friend brings his droid over tomorrow il get a better pic hes a little guy so its kinda hard to get good pics. Thanks, Justin

It's still unclear, but I can make out some granulation on your second pic. I'm going to go ahead and guess it as H. petersii.

Are you sure? In the second pic you can make out those small bumps on the carapace (head). If you look at the sides of the carapace, you should be able to make them out unless I'm going blind lol.

i just looked at him in the light i will admit it does look like it in the pic but its specs of dirt

If there are no granulations and it flashes black it's more than likely a laoticus. Petersii usually flash greenish with granulation.
