| Yeah we was meant to be sent a brachistosternus sternus ( which after serching doesnt even seem to exist) was a shock when expecting a yellow deserty species to open the tub and see that little fella quite a dark brown colour lol, we believe it's a Bothriurus burmeisteri not 100% though, we was also sold our keyserlingi as " Caraboctonus Sp" which was quite confusing considering the keyserlingi is the only species in the Caraboctonus genera lol | |

| Well it sure sounds like you are making out on this shipping business I scored my C. Sculpturatus as bonus scorps for ordering a bunch of P. Transvaalicus. All the P. Transvaalicus were DOA but the C. Sculpturatus made it. The are just 2 or 3i but are pretty darn cool looking! Hope your luck continues | |

| You should def add to your sig! They are awesome looking very bright orange, every time i see other scorpions i want them lol specially the ones i cant have! The long legs on your Psalmopoeus Irminia and PsalmopoeusIrminia kinda gave me the creeps lol i really want a tarantula but only coz the creep me out kinda want to test my nerve a bit lol The Heteroscodra Maculata is crazy looking, so what do you have to do with tarantulas is it basically the same as scorpions just kinda leave them to it, how often do you feed and clean and whatever you need to do with them, is it correct that they dont really need any heating or is it different for different species? | |

| Thanks Yeah, the grass is greener on the other side huh? I hate that! GS does that to me all the time. I'm trying to fight the desire to get into more Andros other than AM until Maddox is a lot bigger but he sure has me wanting an AA! As for T's it varies a little bit depending on the species but to be honest, I keep my apt at 75 degrees for the pets and only have lamps on the scorps. I keep my T's all right by my scorps though so they are a little warmer. I also have dropped back to feeding 1x per week on everything. This includes my T's. So usually one day a week I feed all adult scorps and P. Liosoma and T's and another I feed all the other scorplings. I should probably pick up to 2x a week for the scorplings again, or maybe every other week 2x a week. That being said, everybody seems to be doing great Also if you are freaked by the legginess of some of the T's go with a terrestrial species. Both the P. Irminia and H. Maculata are Arboreal T's which almost always have a lot longer legs. Terrestrial species will have much shorter legs . I also keep a hands off approach with my T's as I do my scorps. I have handled more T's than scorps due to the occasional escape but do more looking than touching. Hope all this helps T's are pretty fun to keep too, and very similar to scorps in basic care and maintenance. | |

| Thanx for the info, are t's easy to raise from spiderlings or is it best to get an adult? Also seen these cute baby corn snakes in one of our local reptile shops and I really want one of those too ( but the owners reserved them for herself and her sister ) oh and an anole or 4 lol they are cool oh and the fiancee wants a turtle too lol Maybe just start a zoo hehehe the weird thing is my cousin runs an exotic pets business but have never got anything from them, purely because when I asked if they could get me scorpions they only replied to me once then didn't bother again, ao i thought sod you then dont have my money, then the next time I spoke to my nan she asked me "what the hell do you want a tarantula for" I was like scorpion actually and she wasn't impressed so kinda put me off dealing with my own family lol as they just go chatting about ya, dunno where tarantula came from though I was quite specifically asking for scorpions | |

| Lol, nice! Depending on the species, T's will get very expensive when they are mature. You're best off getting a spiderling, but I'd recommend getting something 1" or more. One of mine was 3/4" and I didn't have any problems. But from experienced T owners I was recommended to get something 1" or more, I guess the likelyhood of survival makes a big jump around there. You'll have to read up because T's aren't as good as scorps with water and drown very easily. Too bad on the snakes. I want some Honduran Corn Snakes. Contimplating picking up a buddies Arizona Mountain King Snake which is a Pyro. But I also want to hunt some Eastern Hog Nose Snakes this spring If you were here I have a buddy selling his king snake, Uromastyx, anery boa and some other herps fro cheap | |
