| Hehehe. I didn't know they did that flipping-over thing. It's silly and kind of cute. | |

| The only way to find out if it was a good sperm web should be to introduce him to the ladies and see what happens. | |

| I cant wait to see the pics when I get home from work. They don't render here.
@DLP, don't T's molt through out their whole life? A guy I work with here still has 2 T's that are over 20 years old and he said they still molt.

| Shawn, it's just females that do that. Males can't molt out of their tibial hooks (I've only seen one that did, and he gained a second pair).
Ron, I'm not sure. Try to "catch him in the act," and you may see him actually laying down the sperm and loading it into his bulbs. My wife and I have observed this in a male G. rosea.

Awesome, thanks for the clarification. And Ron I can't say much on the web other than the flipping over part I know is part of the molting process. I know, not very helpful, DLP and Mr. Mordax have a lot more insight though. I can say though that your B. Boehmi is one hell of a beautiful speciman! I had wanted one of these so bad but nobody had any slings at the time and the Sub Adults were very expensive so I got a 1/2" B. Smith who is a good couple of inches now and gorgeous too. Great sequence of shots too, I'm anxious to see more pics and more updates

ya man i have seen this like 5/6 times and it just is dumb founding to watch you can tell they have a bit of trouble though. and just a foot note of my study's with (Aphonopelma behlei) AZ. natives, if the mails are to small in size it seems they will molt one more time even(if mature) if the female is considerably larger, i have watched this 3 times with this T but i am still studying this very unusual act... - Quote :
