What Have I Gotten Myself Into

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I recently purchased an emperor scorpion and suspect she is pregnant. I am not 100% sure but want to be prepared just in case she is. I have had emps. for the past 3 years, but they have all been mature and have no idea how to care for scorplings once they are born. Any advice would be appreciated!

any chance you could upload pics of your scorp to have a look if she is gravid?

if she is gravid then congratulations!!!! when she has them the scorplings will crawl up onto the mothers back and will stay there from my experiance anything form 10days- 1 month.
after a month the scorplings molt and become 2nd instars, they colouration will darken and the exoskeleton will harden and will come down of their mothers back and live their own lives. this is when you want to move each scorp into its own little container. fed them on pinhead crickets (sometimes i have used a crushed adult cricket). young scorplings lose water more quickly than adults so make sure you keep the humidity up high, and as for a water dish i use a bottle cap but make sure you put peddles in there so they dont drown.

I will try to get some pictures. She has made a den under a rock and gets rather aggressive when I lift it to see her.
