Hi Im new in the scorpion business. I now have 2 scorpions, a flat rock scorpion and a Emperor. The flat rock looks like a female and the Emperor is a male. I got analog thermo and humidity meters. Today I got myself a digital thermo/humidity meter. I then saw that the analog meters are not very accurate. The analog is 8% out! Do not spend money on analog meters. The cost on the digital meter is more but its worth it.

Thanks for the heads-up, but most of us on here know that the analog gauges are worthless.
Even a good gauge isn't very useful unless you keep the sensor right at ground level where the scorpion lives -- the air gets drier the closer you get to the lid.

Thanks for that. I will put the sensor on ground level. Must say, this forum is has so much information. I am trying to read through all of it, but I think it is going to take some time. So far I am doing things right. I have researched care sheets for about a year before I got my first scorpion. This forum tells it all. You guys are the best.
