| Hi guys I am new here , I recently bought a emperor scorpion and it have a betwen the 3 and 4 Mesosoma from the right side separated and I am worried if it is lethal for the scorpion. Thankyou. In the moment I dont have pictures because I dont have a camera but will ask my friend to lend me his camera and will put some photos.[img] [/img][img] [/img][img] [/img]

| If it's not leaking or bothering the scorp dont worry about it, its not going to usually use its stinger for anything anyway except taking a crap. | |

| I see those all the time. Usually the scorpion does fine and is not bothered by it. Mine survived for a over a year as an adult until it died of unknown causes. | |

| It's called an impaction, and no one's really sure why they happen to scorps or how to prevent them (or how dangerous they are).
As an aside, I'd like to advise against feeding your emp vertebrates -- too much calcium can be detrimental, and the leftovers will stink to high hell if you don't clean them out right away. | |
