Quite a clear picture of the first photo.. i'm not expert in sexing them but i would lean more towards male for the first photo and i believe the second is 100% female.

If both of them are adults.. and are ready sexually... one of the ways is to put them both into a same enclosure and observe if any mating attempt takes place, even if its not successful.. at least you would see if the suspected male tries to grab the female to perform the mating dance.. if things turn ugly, make sure you are there to separate them. Might not work at times but worth a try

Second one i definately female (looks pregnant too)! I'm in doubt now about the first one after seeing the second! Could be both I guess... Looks somewhere in between

they are both in the same tank and i think are still juviniles... there only about 2-3 inches(i lean heavly on the 3 inches).

probably near a molt as they are only 2-3inch's

Even though they're juvenile, I'm going to put my money on the first picture being male and the second being female. There's a drastic enough size difference in the pectines relative to the body.

Yea, judging by these pictures, but with several molts to go, things could change and go directly opposit!

I'm am guessing first pic Male, second pic Female.

maybe this would help a bit... they are identcaly the same length, but the first one has larger claws then the second one

I'm still going to stick with male / female, juvenile or not.
