| I didn`t know whether to laugh or cry when I saw this lol But grab my camera I certainly did. This poor doomed locust looks like he`s in jail lol Ooooh man, talk about making me feel guilty! By the way, my scorpion didn`t seem very interested in eating. Should I be taking the locust out incase it tries anything on with her? Also, will the scorpion hunt and catch the food item or do you normally tong feed? | |

| Normally they always catch and kill their own prey but some can tong feed. Dont worry theres nothing wrong with her scorpions are known to fast at times some reason i think your one might just be familiarising herself to the new enclosure and settling in, you can take the locust out because they can bite back and try again in a day or 2 | |

| haha, nice pic You might have to assist your scorpion in catching these hoppers if they jump around too much. They might be a pain because they hang onto the enclosure's ceiling which is what happened to me. | |

| Haha. Just don't do what I did when I started to tong feed.
The scorp went for the tongs so fast I jumped, which scared the scorp so he jumped, which made me jump again.
He hid in his burrow for 2 days before eating again.

| I`m so used to dealing with rear fang venomous and angry snakes lol I stopped jumping years ago! One of my six foot Carpet pythons bit me a couple of days ago, I saw that comng but just kept still to spare myself unecessary extra damage and tooth loss for her. Jumping isn`t a problem | |

| Fair enough. I jump at everything. I've raised snakes, dogs, monitors, etc, and I still jump.
Heck, I jump when the doorbell catches me off guard or I wake up to fast. Little jealous of your skills.

| I truly hope your a surgeon and not a hitman.
Either way, pretty cool.
You're looking between 10-12 usually. But you haven't said which scorp you're brooding on. Pun intended. I'm assuming Emp. based on your other post.

| Yeah soz, an Emperor scorpion, that`s the only scorpion I have until I find her a suitable mate. Nope, I`m not a hitman lol or a surgeon, I think the persons life might be the worry there and not money! lol I`m a Goldsmith She`s not interested in eating at all. I offered a locust on the tongs and she was very underwhelmed. I`ll try every few days I suppose... I don`t suppose anyone could comment on roughly how far into her pregnancy she might be looking at her? | |
