Urodacus Elongatus Setup Empty
PostSubject: Urodacus Elongatus Setup   Urodacus Elongatus Setup Empty9/13/2010, 7:58 pm

Im looking to get an urodacus elongatus and was wonder what i would need to go with it. I live in NSW on the Central Coast where it is sometimes cool but other times pretty hot.
What substrate should I get?
How much?
What sized tank?
What food?
And where to buy locally?
I also would greatly appreciate information regarding the urodacus elongatus. Just simple things like
would it just be a pet hole?
How docile is it?
And can it be handled?

Thanks in advanced.

Hey there,

I found this great caresheet on it: http://www.venomlist.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18092

The author suggested substrate made of 50/50 peat and soil mix.

The tank for one can be a 5 gallon but if you want something larger, go for 10.
Food can be crickets, meal worms, or roaches.
I have no idea where you'd buy it haha
Maybe you can ask this guy if he has any: http://www.thedailylink.com/thespiralburrow/index.html
Found this aussie scorp selling site: http://www.thegreenscorpion.com.au/shopshow.toy?catnid=44093
