hovering over the water bowl?

hi all, he's been chilin there for hours now, he is alive and his head is above the water line. It's abnormally hot today so I am thinking that's it? He's never done this before except one time, and that was only for a moment or two...

my scorps do this sort of thing all the time. Not sitting on the water dish like that but you know what i mean. My spinifer climbs the back of the tank then clings onto the mesh at the top and just sleeps there. You havent got anything to worry about by the looks of it. if he was to hot he would burrow in to the substrate.
