| hi all , when cleaning my big set up yesterday i saw one of my m.martensii climbing on the wall ,and it had one single babie on her back , i cant belive this one have given birth , but could it be possible that the one who gave birth the other day i isolated have drop one of her babies , and this one might soon to be a mom have some strong motherhood feelings and just letting her on the back raring it like its own ???? , if that it so i will say they are damn pretty caring speices , have any other seen this before ,/michael | |

| Or did she possibly give birth and eat the others??? Is it the same size as the others that you removed? | |

| I suppose it is totally possible. Things like that happen with other creatures all the time in the wild. Maybe she just wants to fatten in up a little to eat it though. Seriously....that is pretty cool. | |

| I have seen behavoir with my B.jacksoni that shows that orther females will let instars crawl on her back even if its not her brood, i have seen one female have a 2 instar brood on her back when i wanted to pick her up the brood whent all over the tank and suddenly i had 3 females with 2 instars on they back I belive this is pretty common behavior with communal scorpions | |
