just put both females together...

the new enclosure has 4 hides instead of the 2 i had before, i also added more substrate to the bottom after i shuffled all of it around to get rid of old territories...

is it normal for them to fight everytime they come in contact with each other?

yeah they may have there little fights but nothing too serious. I mean if they are both stinging each other and getting any more violent than that i would separate them but that shouldn't happen since they are females. I mean my males don't fight at all so a female cant be anything crazy.

they fought for about 30 minutes straight before they both gave up i guess...
now they're just leaving each other alone as far as i can tell...

If they fight every time they meet, then you might want to consider separating them, and trying with new female(s) or male(s) - whatever sex is needed/wanted.

Lol yeah dude they probably be fine. wait a few days before you try to feed them and let them adjust. There shouldnt be any fighting over crickets if thats what you feed. Just throw 3 in at a time and they should be good.

as you might have seen, i had a vicious fight. Left them alone through the night, next day they seemed to be too lazy to have a big fight, just some clawing.

Then I fed each one, and now they live together

Still not sure if its female and male or male male. Supposed to be F/M unless store skrewed up

ehh you cant always go by what the stores tell you

lol id never go by what a store tells me...they told me my big new female was a male...

its cause they are guessing to there best knowledge.

actually half of them dont even take the time to do any kind of research...
well around here they dont anyway

if you go to a reptile house, they would have a better idea than petco or petsmart

i dont know of any petco's around me...
and petsmart doesnt carry scorpions anymore (i cant remember why?)

ive gotten both of mine from privately owned pet stores...
one in my town and one in tampa

huh then try getting some from the breeders here on this forum. ive never done it with any of them but it cant be to horrible.

lol i wish i could say i have 2 scorpions together but now i cant anymore. tell me how i went to jail for a week and my scorpions ended up dying. DAMN

yeah i know what you mean. Not only does having scorps add to your electric bill, but the cost of buying them isnt all that cheap either. I mean i just paid $20 american for my H. Paucidens and i felt that was a good deal. Hes full grown as well.

H. Paucidens is a flat rock and i must say he is my favorite scorpion in the WORLD!! i love the tails dude. How the males have that wicked long tail. And yea my dad was saying that my 4 watt heat pad for my emps was raising the electric bill which i dont believe but whatever

i paid 40$ CND for each of my emps =(

i dont use anything electric to heat my emps tank...
all i have is a false bottom setup aand it feels relatively warm in there at all times...

for the past 5 months that ive had my 1st one ive never used anything to heat the tank
