Binky, how can you say male? The pectines are small and the operculum is clearly pointing towards the metasoma and not oval-shaped.

I was going by that image and was in a rush because it looked more like the male at that time but i can see what you mean now.

how did you get such a clear picture mate? whenever i tried to take a picture of my female even with macro on it was blurry through the glass?

nothing i just take a several shots(it was hell) its difficult to a have a very good shot.. i'm only using a digicam with macro functions.. in my anger i almost throw my digicam.. finally i captured a good one.. that's it.. put your scorp in very clear bottle then go for the shot..

thanks mate, i normaly put mine in a clear container i got at a takeaway but that always comes out blurry never like yours:(
