Male or Female?

I'm having trouble telling, because

1. this specimen isn't an adult, but a subadult
2. the pectines are small and thin
3. the male keeps trying to mate with "him/her" by putting his claws around him/her, and getting near a rock, even though this one isnt an adult (subadult, yellow milky stinger)

edit: sorry about the pics, i was shown by many pics a female's will look like a fly head and the males looks like this "female".

i know how to ID the big ones but this one wasnt super developed, so i was unsure with the shape of its thingy.

I wasn't 100% sure about my subadult female at first, either. But 3 days after she molted, she and the male mated. XD

haha yea he keeps trying to mate with her and is wondering why she wont return his advances.
he loves her though, its funny to see him be gentle and wanna sleep next to her, and she gets all pissy and defensive.
